Santa Barbara Vacation Rentals Offers Dog-Friendly Accommodations in One of California's Most Pet-Friendly Destinations

There are so many reasons to travel with your pet to Santa Barbara, a city that offers many dog-friendly places and activities to enjoy with your canine companion. Traveling with your dog can greatly enhance the holiday experience for the whole family. And pet-friendly accommodations offered by Santa Barbara Luxury Rentals makes it possible to travel with your dog in comfort while enjoying peace of mind on a vacation truly designed for the entire family.

Across the nation, many pet owners are choosing to vacation with their furry friends. According to a study by Travel Industry Association of America there are 62 million dog owners in the country with 29 million who travel with their dogs.

When traveling to a pet-friendly destination like Santa Barbara, vacationers should really consider taking their pets with them instead of boarding them or hiring a pet sitter. Pet travel makes it possible to avoid the separation anxiety that many pets suffer from and can actually save you money since boarding an animal can cost about $40 a day, which can quickly add up to an additional $560 over a two-week stay.

So many people consider their pets to be part of the family and that's why we offer a variety of high-end, pet-friendly vacation homes like Le Petit Chateau pictured here. It’s our most popular pet-friendly properties because it has an enclosed yard, a doggy door, and is just a couple blocks from Hendry’s- Santa Barbara's popular off-leash dog beach.

People love bringing their pets with them to stay at our vacation rentals in Santa Barbara because they feel that they are truly able to share the holiday experience with their entire family – four-legged members included. We've received great feedback
from our guests who have been able to enjoy their holidays more knowing that their pets a
re safe and comfortable in their vacation homes.

It is understandably more difficult for hotels to implement pet-friendly policies since it’s complicated to welcome dogs into shared spaces where some guests may have allergies or other considerations that prevent them from being around animals. Our Santa Barbara vacation rentals are unique because they are private and unshared with other guests so if people want to enjoy our rental properties with their pets they can - just as if they were in their own home.

Santa Barbara Vacation Homes Make it Easy to Enjoy Local Summer Festivals

Visitors who frequently rent Santa Barbara vacation homes in the summer are already familiar with the Summer Festival of the Music Academy of the West. In fact, we have several clients who rent vacation rentals in Santa Barbara every year, whose focus is entirely on supporting the Academy and its artists. Join them this weekend as the Music Academy celebrates "A Baroque Evening" with conductor Nicholas McGegan. McGegan will be captivating his audience with music from Bach, Purcell, Rameau and Handel.

Tuesday night will showcase a special recital of the Academy's collaborative pianists on campus. The property belonging to the Music Academy is well worth the trip to Montecito. Several of our Santa Barbara vacation rentals are within easy walking distance to the Music Academy, like our Montecito Casas, two beautiful Santa Barbara vacation homes that are just one block from the beach and three blocks from Coast Village Road. The Montecito Hideaway is another lovely Santa Barbara vacation rental that is just a five minute walk from the Music Academy. With so much to see and do just outside your doorstep, who needs a car?
